Days Lived: Mindful Life Grid - Privacy Policy

1. Information Collection

Days Lived collects NO personal data. Your birthday, milestones, one-line journal entries, moods, letters to your future self, the photos you add to your days, mindset and settings are stored on your iPhone and, if you are signed in to iCloud, in your own private iCloud storage so they come back on a new iPhone (see section 4). They are never sent to the developer or to any third party. The only exception is the optional weather sky described in section 3, which you turn on yourself.

2. Widgets

To show your day number on the Home Screen and Lock Screen, the app shares your birthday and settings with its own widget through a private storage area on your device (an App Group). This data does not leave your iPhone.

3. Weather Sky (optional)

Days Lived Pro can make the sky in the app match the real weather outside. This feature is off until you turn it on, and it asks for your permission to use your location.

• Only your approximate location is used. Before anything leaves your iPhone, it is rounded to about 10 km (one decimal place of latitude and longitude).
• This rounded location is sent only to the weather service of the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (api.met.no), at most once an hour, to get the current forecast. No other data is sent with it, and it is not linked to you, your journal or any account.
• The latest forecast is kept on your iPhone so the sky can be drawn without asking again.
• You can turn the weather sky off at any time in Settings, or remove location access in the iPhone Settings app.

4. iCloud Sync and Backups

• If you are signed in to iCloud, your journal, moods, letters, milestones, day photos, birthday, name and settings are synced through Apple's iCloud into your own private iCloud database. Only your Apple Account can read it: the developer has no access to it and cannot see, read or recover it.
• If you are not signed in to iCloud, everything stays only on your iPhone.
• You can also export a backup file in Settings. The file is saved where you choose (for example the Files app) and is never sent to the developer.

5. Photos and Films

• With Days Lived Pro you can add up to 3 photos to a day. You pick them with the standard iOS photo picker, so the app receives only the photos you choose and never reads the rest of your library. A smaller copy of each chosen photo is kept inside the app on your iPhone. Removing a photo from a day deletes that copy.
• When you tap "Save as video", the film made from your days is added to your Photos library. The app asks only for permission to add items, not to read your library.
• Apart from the iCloud sync in section 4, photos and films are never uploaded by the app. If you share a film, it goes only where you choose to send it.

6. Data Usage

No analytics, tracking, advertising or monitoring is performed. The developer cannot see, read or recover your journal.

7. In-App Purchases

The app offers a free "3-day Free Trial" of Pro and a one-time purchase, "Days Lived Pro (Lifetime)", through Apple's App Store. Neither is a subscription. All payment processing is handled by Apple. The developer (SkyNova AI) never receives your payment information.

8. Third-Party Services

No third-party SDKs are included. The app works offline. Network connections are made only by Apple's own services (the App Store when you start the trial, buy or restore the purchase, and iCloud for the sync in section 4) and, if you turn on the weather sky, by the weather request described in section 3.

9. Deleting Your Data

Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device. To also delete the copy in your iCloud, open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name, then iCloud, Manage Storage (or Storage), Days Lived, and delete its data. You can also delete individual milestones and journal entries inside the app by long-pressing them, and remove any photo from a day.

10. Children's Privacy

Because no personal data is collected, no information from children is collected either.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the effective date above will change.
